A Sampling of Our Activities
Choir
The choir offers the ministry of song at our 10:30 a.m. service every Sunday and special services throughout the year. We practice every Wednesday night at 7 p.m. Contact choirmaster Richard Armstrong if you'd like to join us!
Men's Breakfast
8:40 a.m. - 1st Sunday of each month
The men of the church have fed generations with S.O.S. and other rib-sticking breakfast treats. They also deliver plates to our town's first responders at the Jacksonville Fire and Police Departments and Jacksonville State University Public Safety.
Coffee Hour
All are welcome at coffee hour in the Parish Hall after the 10:30 a.m. service every Sunday. It's the best time to catch up with old friends and to meet new ones. It's also a great volunteer opportunity!
Daughters of the King
The DOK is an order for Episcopal women dedicated to prayer, service and evangelism, dedicated to the spread of Christ's Kingdom and the strengthening of the spiritual life of our parish. For more information, click here.
Piece Makers
The Piece Makers is a community quilting group that meets at St. Luke's every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. It is open to any resident of the Jacksonville/Anniston metropolitan area who is interested in quilting. Rank beginners as well as seasoned quilt makers are encouraged to join the group. Members enjoy trading ideas, learning new methods of quiltmaking and sharing friendly chatter.
